We’ve consolidated our Ecovadis Silver Sustainability Rating with a significantly improved sustainability score in 2023. 🌱
Our 2023 Ecovadis sustainability scorecard shows a 17% improvement on our score from last year. We fell just short of the threshold for a gold rating, but we’re pleased to have been awarded a Silver Ecovadis Sustainability Rating for 2023. We’ve made great strides in the past 12 months, with Ecovadis recognising our progress within the following categories: Ethics, Environmental, Labour and Human Rights. The result places us in the 92nd percentile for our sector, which is something to be proud of.
Responsible businesses are paying increasing attention to the sustainability credentials of their supply chains. As a manufacturing business, we’re conscious of our environmental impact and our environmental management systems are already ISO 14001 certified. It’s important that we can demonstrate a responsible approach to our customers, Ecovadis allows us to do this with an independent external annual assessment. Ecovadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings.
Our CSR team completed our submission in April and we’re pleased that our improvements have been recognised. The Ecovadis assessment offers detailed feedback on how we can improve further. As with our 2022 rating, our CSR team will review this feedback in detail and continually seek improvements wherever possible.
