We’re delighted to learn that our Office Administrator Connor Peck has been shortlisted as a 2022 Finalist in The Plastics Industry Awards. His place as a finalist in the ‘Unsung Hero’ category is well-deserved.
Connor was nominated by his colleagues with Sales Office Supervisor, Joe Allen offering the following words…
“Connor was one of the few office staff not to be furloughed during the pandemic. He operated the sales office almost single-handedly for eight weeks before his colleagues started to return. He demonstrated an excellent attitude with a maturity beyond his years. The pressure was intense at times but Connor took the situation in his stride, ensuring he maintained exemplary service levels to our valued customers.
Customers always speak very highly of his service. They know he’ll deal with their enquiries in an efficient and timely manner. Connor’s understanding of our customers and their requirements is vital. It’s exactly what we look for in employees as it helps to nurture the lasting business partnerships we thrive on.”
Business Development Manager, Ray Simpson added…
“As a customer facing sales person that has spent years in the role, I know how important it is that the internal administrator understands the customers requirements and reacts to their needs. Connor is a vital part of our team and our customers always comment on how efficient, helpful and knowledgeable he is. Whilst always remaining calm whatever the situation.”
This will be the 21st year of the Plastics Industry Awards. The winners of all categories will be announced at a black tie evening event on 18th November 2022 at the Intercontinental London Park Lane. All winners will be invited on stage to collect a winners award. Connor has certainly been an unsung hero for Broadway. It’s great for his hard work and dedication to be recognised with his place on the shortlist of three finalists.
