Our customers are rightly paying increasing attention to the sustainability credentials of their supply chains. As a responsible manufacturing business, we’re conscious of our environmental impact. Our environmental management systems are already ISO 14001 certified and we recently formed an internal Corporate Social Responsibility Team to review our processes and implement further improvements wherever possible. Ecovadis is the world’s largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings. Our team completed a submission for an Ecovadis assessment and we’re very pleased to have been awarded a silver rating. This is an excellent achievement for our first assessment. It’s testament to the responsible approach the business already takes. Thanks to Chris Bird, Chris Gramlick and Laura Boggis for their work on our submission.
But the hard work doesn’t stop here. The assessment offers detailed feedback on how we can improve further. Our team are already analysing the report and seeking ways to address these areas. In a world where we all need to take responsibility for our environmental impact, this initiative is vital in supporting our ambition to operate in a progressive, ethical and environmentally conscious manner.
